Situated on the border of
Spain in the French Pyrenees, 1800m above sea level. Winter
season the town of Font Romeu is a chic ski resort. Le Clos
St Savin is a popular residence de vacances offering self-catering
accommodation to families, sports people and famous personalities
from all over the world!
At present we have 9 horses, all miniatures. Post will involve
showing the horses at local festivals (each town has its own
festival in the Summer months) and introducing the breed to
the public/ press for example. This may incorporate events
in the style of Tanya Larrigan.
The clients of Le Clos do not enter the yard at present but
we do offer a 'Meet the Horses' to the children and parents,
in order for the children to learn about the horses.
We are ideally looking for someone to:
- Show initiative and enthusiasm
- Enjoy working in a young, relaxed, un-traditional yard
environment
- Manage and take responsibility for the welfare and upkeep
of the horses and small animal areas
- Be energetic and happy to work outside in the winter
months
